Jiwon McCartney – CEO
Jiwon was always inspired by Visual Communications since she was a child. Growing up she spent much of her time drawing, painting or visually designing her dreams. After leaving Northern Illinois University 1992, she began her career in hospitality working for Levy Management at Wrigleyfield in Chicago. She then went on to the Hyatt corporation seeking challenge and engage her passion for Food & Beverage. In her ten years with the Hyatt in Chicago and Atlanta, she realized her talent to manage challenging situations and find creative crowd-pleasing solutions to problems. She thrived in providing customer service and achieving excellence to whatever position she was given in the company. From outlet manager to catering and convention services manager she was driven and was promoted quickly for her ambition to achieve. Jiwon’s defining positions as the off-premise catering director for the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta. She had finally found a position that allowed her to use all her talents, skills and experiences. In 2003 she left the Hyatt and worked ion Destination Management, third party Event Planning, Catering & Events operations and finally stepped into her adventure with ALLURE Event & Meeting Productions, Inc. in 2006. Her experiences serve as a solid foundation for her unique and creative approach to meeting and event management. She sees “challenges” as opportunities to exceed client’s expectations and thrives on opportunities for creative solutions.
