Jiwon McCartney, Managing Director
After 31/2 years of being a managing partner of an event planning company based in Atlanta, Jiwon followed her passion with ALLURE to plan meetings and events on a national level. With 10 years experience with Hyatt Corporation working in convention services, catering sales and food and beverage operations, Jiwon finds her true calling in logistics, operations and customer service.  After the Hyatt, she spent some time as the Director of Events with a destination management company then as an Executive Sales Associate with an off premise catering company. Her experiences serve as a solid foundation for her unique and creative approach to meeting and event management.  She sees “challenges” as opportunities to exceed client’s expectations.

        
 
Michele Tonogan, Account Executive - Atlanta

Michele began her career in the event industry as the leading sales associate for a quality linen rental company in Atlanta. As a people person, she enjoyed taking care of her vast customer base by giving design advice and overseeing all aspects of operations. Michele also spent 10 years in the healthcare industry where she focused on high end customer service and developed her very detailed oriented organizational skills. With her knowledge of customer care and event design, she joins the ALLURE team bringing her enthusiasm, excitement and creative insight to ALLURE clients.   Her ability to think outside the box and intuitive nature for customer service allows her to accommodate clients with the most challenging of event or meeting logistics.



Allyson Helle, Director of Corporate Sales - Chicago

After graduating University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Recreation Administration and a minor in Chemistry, Allyson sought after her passions in the event and meeting planning industry.   Allyson found herself in an intensive internship program on an exclusive island off North Carolina's coast. During her internship program, Allyson managed accommodations for some of the most elite celebrities such as Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Willard Scott, Bill Cower and their families.  She coordinated and detailed family entertainment for the island's visiting families as well as managed their day-to-day activities.  Realizing her true calling Allyson found herself at an international meeting-planning firm in Illinois for 8 years.  Allyson specialized in high-end pharmaceutical clients earning the position of Director of Meeting Planning managing a team of 7 meeting planners. She is now part of ALLURE team with enthusiasm for challenge and opportunities to utilize her creative talents.


 
Margie Schmeda, Account Executive - Chicago

Margie grew up in the beautiful city of Chicago where she gained her extensive knowledge of our local resources perfect for any occasion, Born in Poland, Margie brings her international background to the ALLURE team with 15 years of experience in sales, customer service and public relations.  Her experiences allows her to provide ALLURE clients organization of the toughest of logistics and her excellent customer service background will keep everyone calm under pressure.  Her professional demeanor and positive attitude acts as a solid foundation for a successful, flawless event every time.

                                                     
 
Kate Hinson, Event Consultant - Atlanta

Kate is one of the few born and raised native Atlantan!   Kate began her career through her executive positions at her sorority in college and various internships.   Always being the social planner in her group of friends, organizing and planning came naturally to Kate.  Her recent professional background in PR and marketing serves as solid foundation for attention to details, customer service and creative eye for events and meetings . As a young professional in the event planning industry, Kate brings a fresh approach to problem solutions, passion for details and enthusiasm for cutomer service to the ALLURE team.

 
Fatima Masud, Assistant Event Consultant - Chicago 

After 11 years in the corporate world working in the areas of business and financial sales, Fatima decided to take a break and go back to college to complete her Degree in Business Management. While she was determining her next career move, she decided to pursue her passion in the event industry. Fatima began her interests in event planning as she watched her family and friends struggle to plan and coordinate their own weddings. Never one to let a friend feel stressed, she started volunteering to help find vendors and décor ideas for them. Researching trends and spending  countless hours assembling invitations and programs…not to mention encouraging and calming frazzled brides-to-b sparked her motivation to pursue a career in the event industry. Soon she found herself planning other events and occasions, and in the process found herself pursuing her new career endeavor with ALLURE. Fatima joins the ALLURE  team with passion and determination for planning special events.


Andrea Crowley, Event Consultant - Chicago

Andrea found her love of the event industry at a young age watching her mother design florals in central New York.  Even as a little girl she knew planning was her calling.  After college where she studied Interior Design, Andrea followed her passion and worked for her mother’s company as a wedding consultant.  She has spent the last two years planning for brides in central New York.   She recently moved to Chicago and found her perfect place with ALLURE.  With her experience in planning and creative eye for event design, Andrea offers ALLURE clients dependable customer service.  An ABC accredited consultant, Andrea brings positive attitude to challenges and ensures detailed management to every event.



Jennifer Scheid, Event Consultant - Atlanta

Jennifer began her career in the event industry as marketing  and sales manager for  an events facility just south of the Atlanta airport.  Organizing and planning seem to come naturally for Jennifer.  She quickly advanced to the Senior Events Coordinator position and completed over 100 events from the most intimate weddings to coorparte outings for companies as Avery Dennison and Panasonic. Her calm demeaner and attention to details instincts bring every event the expectional result every time.  Jennifer joins the ALLURE team with eye for creative event design, impeccable customer service and positive attitude.



Elizabeth Weiss, Assistant Event Manager- Chicago & Atlanta
Elizabeth’s interest in event planning sparked while she was planning her Bat Mitzvah.  Years later, while attending The Colorado College and studying psychology she was elected social chair of her sorority and her passion continued to grow.  Elizabeth was in charge of planning and overseeing everything from luncheons to formals to charity kickball tournaments.  After graduation, she interned in the promotions department of a prominent Chicago radio station and perfected her event and risk management skills.  Elizabeth brings her excitement, eagerness and love of working with others to help them achieve their dreams to ALLURE.
